Sweetfin Poke's Menu Is Worth Diving Into

I’m a native New Yorker, it’s in my blood to eat out and want to check out the latest and most notable places to dine — no matter where I am. So when I got invited to check out the new, cult-favorite (LA) poke spot, Sweetfin Poke at the Westfield UTC Mall, I was all IN! And, let me tell you, I fully understand why Sweetfin Poke is making waves. The chef-driven, California inspired menu is definitely worth diving into. San Diegans, you heard it here first! 

The restaurant's philosophy is from "Pole to Bowl, which means that in sourcing their fish, they aim to use the highest-quality and most sustainable raw fish they can find while still maintaining a reasonable price point. This philosophy extends into all areas of their offerings - from the produce to the sauces and even to the ingredients used to infuse the teas.

The BYOB (build your own bowl) that I made today was one of my favorite poke bowls, ever. I chose Tuna with a Black Garlic Oil Gochu, Avocado, Mango, Cucumber, Red Onion, and Carrots over a half/half bed of kale salad and forbidden rice. DELICIOUS! Not to mention, the location is totally Insta-worthy (you’re welcome). 

So I want to send a special thank you to Week Night Bite for hosting a fabulous morning of fitness (hey, Soul Cycle La Jolla) and food (Sweetfin) - with the best and most inspiring boss babes. I wish every day could start like this!
