If you’re just as excited about breaking out your Fall clothes as I am, you’re in the right place. Tis the season of cooler temps and new ways to dress. To welcome arguably one of the best seasons for fashion, I’ve rounded up the latest trends for fall/winter. Let’s just say, it is all about layering like a pro, unapologetically mixing prints, and cozying up in some of the chicest tailored items you can get your hands on. GLOSS: High-shine fabrics are all the rage this season, whether vinyl, latex, plastic or leather.

NEON: Extra bright adds are having a moment so consider accenting your more muted autumn #OOTDs with a splash of color. From a sweater to a bag, or even a sock will make an impact.

TWEED: Did someone say heritage chic? Since the beginning of the 20th century, Chanel has solidified the tweed skirt suit as a staple for every empowered woman’s closet (#girlboss). Without any surprise, this couture-inspired ready-to-wear style is back full force. Tweed is totally trending and you’ll see the fabric popping up as coats, skirts and more.

LEATHER: A personal favorite of mine! This dominant fabric is being sported in a variety of colors and pieces ranging from skirts to trousers, trench coats, jackets, and more.   

ANIMAL PRINT:  Zebra and leopard are back in a big way for winter 2018, as seen on the catwalks of Victoria Beckham, Givenchy, Balenciaga, and Tom Ford.

HOODS: It’s all good in the hood this season. Whether you want to be low-key, mask a bad-hair day, or cover your head from the cooler temps, the trending hood has got you covered this season.

WESTERN: Those boots were made for walkin’ and that’s what they are doing this season. From cowboy and slouchy boots to fringe-detailed apparel, the wild, wild west is leaving its mark on the fashion industry this fall/winter.

PLAID: Revolutionary, right? Just kidding. This trend has actually stood the test of time. It’s still current so either brush off your existing plaid pieces or invest in some new ones (like a fitted, embellished or oversized plaid blazer) for your wardrobe.
